How is the CBAM certificate price set?

During the definitive period the Commission calculates the price of CBAM certificates as the average of the closing prices of EU ETS allowances on the common auction platform for each calendar quarter, and publishes it on the first working day following the end of that quarter. Weekly prices follow from 2027.
