Source and modification notice

Public emissions intelligence, not supplier evidence.

Annual values are CBAM Pulse-derived sums of 12 monthly Climate TRACE 2025 rows, rounded to the nearest tonne. The confidence label is the lowest monthly emissions-quantity confidence for that source.

Climate TRACE data and associated metadata are attributed under CC BY 4.0. Ownership fields are excluded. The pinned manufacturing CO2 archive is identified by inventory version, last-modified date, and SHA-256 in the versioned data module.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can Climate TRACE identify the installation that produced my imported goods?

No. A similar name, country, location, production type, or emissions profile does not establish shipment provenance. Use this explorer to prepare questions, then confirm the producing installation with the supplier and your own records.

Are these figures CBAM embedded emissions?

No. They are Climate TRACE source-level modelled CO2 and activity estimates. They are not product-specific, supplier-verified, shipment-specific, or prepared under the prescribed CBAM embedded-emissions method.

Why are confidence labels low or very low?

Climate TRACE confidence reflects the source data and modelling available for each monthly estimate. The explorer shows the lowest monthly emissions-quantity confidence as a conservative annual label; it does not upgrade or verify that confidence.

How was each 2025 annual figure created?

CBAM Pulse summed the 12 monthly 2025 Climate TRACE CO2 and activity rows for each source and rounded displayed totals to the nearest tonne. The original monthly package, version, retrieval context, and archive checksum are pinned in the data module.

Why does this explorer cover only Türkiye and the United Kingdom?

This first release is an explicitly reviewed, bounded snapshot for two countries and two manufacturing subsectors. It does not imply complete global coverage or that the Climate TRACE estimates are equivalent to official CBAM default values.

This public explorer is informational only. It is not legal, tax, customs, compliance, declaration, filing, audit, certification, or verification advice. Only official publications and decisions by the relevant authorities are authoritative.
