Subject: CBAM embedded-emissions data request — Supplier data request (import year 2026)

Dear Supplier,

We are preparing our CBAM reporting evidence for import year 2026 and would like to ask your organisation for supporting information on the embedded emissions of the goods listed below. This is an informational data request to help us structure our records — no response is treated as an official CBAM figure until we and our advisers have reviewed it.

Data we would like to request
- The production installation these goods came from (name, address, and country).
- The relevant production route or process for the goods.
- Direct embedded emissions per tonne of the goods.
- Indirect embedded emissions per tonne, with the electricity consumption and emission factor used.
- Whether these figures are actual measured data or default values, and the basis for them.
- The period the emissions data covers.
- Any carbon price already paid or due in the country of origin for these goods, if applicable.

Supporting evidence we would like to request
- The calculation or monitoring methodology behind the emissions figures.
- Supporting documentation for the figures, or a link or reference to where it can be found.
- Details of any independent third-party check of the data, where available.
- A contact we can follow up with on any open questions.

It is not legal, tax, or customs advice, it is not an official CBAM declaration, and it is not a submission to the CBAM Registry. We remain responsible for reviewing anything you share with our advisers before we rely on it.

Ask for the data source

The draft asks the supplier to identify the production installation, route or process, emissions figures, period covered, and the basis for the data.

Ask for supporting references

It requests methodology notes, supporting documentation references, any independent check where available, and a contact for follow-up questions.
